Our Hephzibah Inn River Cabin offers self-catering accommodation situated on a former olive farm in Rondeheuwel, Hermon. Surrounded by the Paarl mountains and spectacular farm views, with the Berg River running in front of the property, it’s an ideal retreat.
This air-conditioned cabin can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. The bedroom is comfortably furnished with a queen-size bed, and the bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. Linen and bath towels are provided.
The unit features a well-equipped kitchen that includes a 2-plate gas stove, airfryer, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, cutlery, crockery, fridge-freezer, and a 6-seater dining table. The lounge offers comfortable seating, a double sleeper couch, and a fireplace. For guests’ entertainment, a smart TV and free Wi-Fi are available.
The cabin provides; Olive oil, salt, pepper, ice bucket in fridge, 1 bag wood, coffee, tea and sugar
Guests can enjoy a covered deck with a built-in braai, seating, and a wood-fired hot tub. Secure on-site parking is provided, and for those looking to explore the area, Riebeek-Kasteel is approximately 10.5 km from the property
Breakfast and food baskets: We have a lovely coffee shop on premises for breakfast. Please see menu and food basket menu’s under the coffee shop tab. Please book breakfast and food baskets 48h in advance.
Our facilities are solar powered.

- All rooms with braaing facilities require guests to either bring own extra wood or charcoal, extra hot tub wood, meat spices, basting sauces or pre order these items with reservation
- The main guest house Deluxe room is not self-catering. No stove or oven. Basic cutlery or crockery will be provided in all rooms in the main guest house.
- The Main guest house superior unit is basic self catering with a kitchenette with fridge only, microwave, 2plate table top stove, cutlery and crockery.
- The Signature cottage is self-catering with a full kitchen
- The River Cabin is self-catering with a full kitchen
- The Farm Cottage is self-catering with a full kitchen.
- Kol-Kol Hot tub only to be heated with wood.
- This is a self-check-in guest house, no concierge services are available. Contactable person Chantalle @0675947309 will be available 24/7 for any queries or emergencies.
- The guest house is not pet friendly.
